शोध में रुचि

उष्णकटिबंधीय क्षेत्रों में वर्तमान विलुप्ति संकट का प्रमुख कारण आवास विखंडन है। हमारा समूह मानव-प्रधान भू-भागों में कई लुप्तप्राय प्रजातियों के अस्तित्व पर इसके प्रभाव को समझने में रुचि रखता है, इसके लिए वे व्यवहार, जनसांख्यिकी, प्रजनन और तनाव शरीरक्रिया विज्ञान, और जीनोमिक्स का अध्ययन करते हैं। हमारा समूह जैव विविधता संरक्षण में विभिन्न जैव-प्रौद्योगिकी उपकरणों के विकास में भी रुचि रखता है, जिसमें पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र सेवाओं के अध्ययन हेतु जलीय पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र में ईडीएनए उपकरण शामिल हैं।
